Makana iSUP range features a premium single layer drop-stitch combined with double layer PVC rails plus aThermo Plastic Belt – TPB.The main advantage with this construction is its remarkable stiffness and accurate rocker curve while paddling which provides much better glide for improved speed. The Thermo Plastic Belt is a 2.5 mm thick and 12 cm wide unidirectional stinger of fibreglass weave running from the tail to the nose as a stringer on the top and bottom of the board. It absorbs and distributes forces and vibrations throughout the entire hull of the board, creating a very stiff construction. Our drop-stitch features a 500 denier polyester yarn, which is makes the board very light and compact to role up.
